Salvation

In Christianity, Satan, Saved, Sin on February 1, 2009 at 1:23 am

What I must I do to be saved?

1John 1:9

(ESV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(GNB)  But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing.

(MKJV)  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Act 16:30  Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

Act 16:31  And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Act 16:32  And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.

Act 2:21  And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’

1Ti 2:3  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

1Ti 2:4  who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1Ti 2:5  For God is one, and there is one Mediator of God and of men, the Man Christ Jesus,

1Ti 2:6  who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Mat 10:32  So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven,

Mat 10:33  but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

Rom 10:8  But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);

Rom 10:9  because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Rom 10:10  For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

Step 1 Admit your sin to God!

Step 2. Ask him in prayer to forgive you.

Step 3. Confess him as Lord of your life and Savior.
